These are not the only topics I can speak on. My background is 20 years of teaching–full and part time–in public and private schools in elementary classrooms; online writing instruction for adults; and community education for adults. I also worked from home as a freelance writer and published children’s author–I’ve been a stringer for a newspaper and wrote a book review column for the same newspaper for years. I have also written standardized testing items to the Common Core Standards. I’ve written for countless blogs and magazines as well as being the managing editor for entire issues of WOW! Women On Writing ezine.

I have appeared at writing conferences for WOW! to take queries and talk about writing for magazines and entering fiction and essay contests.
